10 Sa A players hospitalized
Ten out of the 16 South Africa A players have been hospitalised in Chennai, forcing their match on Monday against Australia A to be postponed to Tuesday. A press release from CSA said the squad had been"ravaged by food poisoning." As a result, India A, who were due to have a day off, will step in and play Australia A on Monday, with the BCCI confirming the change in schedule.Half the South African A roster had fallenill overnight andQuinton de Kock, who had only flown in last afternoon, was thrust into the XI to face India A today. He managed a gritty century in conditions he has a history of struggling in - slow, turning pitches. But as well as he coped with the challenge from underfoot, the overhead conditions became a little too much. He did not keep wicket, but even fielding on a severely hot afternoon took its toll. He was seen cramping and, in the 32nd over, had to go off the field. CSA has confirmed he was among those who was hospitalised.Opener Reeza Hendricks, middle-order batsman Khaya Zondo and left-arm seamer Mthokozisi Shezi had not been fit prior to the start of the match, but all three were forced to play because South Africa A did not have enough players to field. The three players also ended up going to the hospital during the course of the match.Things were so dire that South Africa A's video analyst Hendrikus Coertzen and India A's Mandeep Singh had to be roped in as substitute fielders. Their reserves list for today included Wayne Parnell, Beuran Hendricks, Cameron Delport, Cody Chetty and Keshav Maharaj. But only Hendricks and Maharaj came out as a substitute fielders.

Termination of Csk and RR?
BCCI is likely to terminate contracts of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals; and is considering the options to call tender for two new franchise or inviting foreign teams to participatein the tournament. But, if the BCCi finally terminate CSK and RR’s contract then its biggest worry will be to face legal backlash. The IPL governing council meeting will happen on August 29 in Mumbai to receive and study the report submitted by the BCCI-appointed five-member working group."Termination is a very much an option, as much as auctioning two new teams is," BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur told TOI on Saturday. When Thakur, the secratry of the board, is talking about the termination then both thetainted franchises will be terminated. However, IPL chairman Rajiv Shukla, who is heading the working group which includes Thakur, wasn't very vocal about sacking the teams."We haven't formed an opinion on that. It can have legal ramifications, even the Lodha Committee hasn't recommended that," Shukla said.Highly placed sources said the BCCI is extremely worry about the legal tussle it can endure if SCK and RR dicide to go in court if terminated.Earlier Rajiv Shukla said that the Lodha Committee verdict is final before set a three member committee to lay out future plan fornext IPL.CSK and RR - if sacked - will be freeto go to court. But, BCCI determinedto host eight franchise IPL in 2016.Another interesting view coming out in Saturday’s meeting if court allow them to return then the Board can host a 10 team IPL.On Saturday, the working group met three franchise owners, central sponsors, broadcasters and all other stakeholders in the IPL at asuburban hotel in Mumbai.Currently, two franchises are against bringing two new franchises through auction. They believe that CSK and RR will erode the overall value of the league as well as the other teams.
